What a great parallel to motherhood that you drew from your coaching experience -- don't even glance over at the other runners -- one look will slow you down (and cause you become discouraged). So true. Comparisons can be a real snare! (Hello -- been there, done that!) Through my own faith journey, God has shown me time and again that He KNOWS me intimately, He LOVES me, He is FOR me -- and HE is the only One who gives my life true value and meaning.
